I have been experimenting with new felt colours, ink colours, frame sizes and of course my Dymo. Here are a few photos of my results. Unfortunely the grey on blue birds don't photograph very well. I'll be taking better shots once I am ready to post them on Etsy.

Modern Botanicals
My napkins have made it into this beautiful treasury, one of my favourites. Make sure to check it out.
Dymo
This afternoon I will pack up my children in the car, drive across town to buy this Dymo embossing labeler for $5. Can't wait.
Update: picked up my Dymo (from a very strange couple of course) and I love it!!!

To brag or not to brag
A few days before I was featured on the FP of Etsy, I came across this blog article, "To brag or not to brag". I personally have decided to put an icon on my item because I am so happy I made the FP and want the world to know :) I've chosen to brag.

Front Page!
What a very very exciting morning. My upcycled vintage tea towel was featured on the front page! It's off the front page now, but below is a screen capture . I got 240 hits and 12 hearts from this feature. It was up for about 2 hrs, short but sweet. :)

Modern Play
I made another treasury. This one I am not super happy with, but I have some of my favourite products in here.
Yellow
Family tree featured here. I also noticed that I featured the person who created this treasury a few days ago in my treasury. Interesting.
Etsy
Ok, I am starting to get the hang of this whole Etsy thing. Just posted my tea towels and already have one featured in a treasury. I can see why it's so important to keep posting new products all the time.

W-Germany
I found this a month ago. It's a small table cloth, probably for a little side table. Made in W-Germany.
Vera Scarf
I always have my best luck at Goodwill. I've bought about 10 original Vera silk scarves there, most I am planning to sell on Etsy. But, this one I found today I will be keeping!
Mailing Tubes
I bought some nice white cardboard tubes for mailing. They are 4 inches wide and 24 inches long. Bought them at one of my very favourite stores, Shippers Supply. These tubes will ship my family tree kits. The thing I love about Shippers Supply is that you can find any box you could dream of and buy one or thousands of them.
I decided the white tubes wanted to be tree trunks. So, Julia and I did a little crafting. We used cut up sponges, water colours, natural tissue paper, and some white glue. Here are some photos (got to work on my colour consistency in my photos, please ignore)

Cosmic Cookies
A fellow mom made these cookies and brought them to a preschool board meeting last night. They are very tasty.

Orla Kiely Book
My birthday present to myself arrived today, the new Orla Kiely book!!!! Love, love, love. It's a huge, perfect coffee table book. The problem is I don't know when I'll have time to read it!
Boreal Modern
Check out my friend Lori's Etsy site. We've been working on our sites together, it's handy to have a friend with opposite talents.

Etsy Shop now open
I've quietly opened my Etsy shop, just put in a few items to see how it works and work out any kinks. I will start promoting it once I have a few of my top secret items listed.
